Targets may be presented as a single target or in pairs. Pairs can be “doubles”, or on “report”.
Wildlife Identification
All wildlife identification questions will be limited to those species listed in the current Pennsylvania Game Commission Hunter-Trapper Education student manual. Wildlife images, tracks, scat, sign, calls, mounted specimens or parts of specimens; such as fur, feather or bone may be used as a means to identify the species in the question.

Distances are unmarked, so range estimation is as important as good shooting skills.

Scoring is similar to IBO events.
Hunter Education
The Hunter responsibility Competition will be comprised of questions in the form of a written test.
